Company Chronicle

S T R was founded in the after the "Fall of the Berliner Mauer" when the demand for liquid transport in the food sector was almost insatiable.
The operative transport processing was initially carried out using tank containers - this alternative, born out of the shortage - has proven itself as a philosophy for the development.
In the food sector, special tanks and tank containers used exclusively for this purpose can now be used to transport a wide variety of media.


Transport and storage tanks were designed for applications in the food sector, which enable transport and production from the transport container without reloading.


From the three-man operation in 1991, a highly specialized logistics company for tank beer transports quickly developed. The range of services is rounded off by food tank transport and container trucking


Thanks to the efficiency of the employees and the constant upward trend, it became necessary to put a modern administration building into operation in order to create space for new growth. The completion of this building was successfully realized in 2001.


S T R was first certified according to ISO 22000:2005 in November 2007.


In May 2015, the shareholders' meeting appointed Björn Schmidt as the new managing director.
